Decided to do a quick & dirty Any% run with a weapon I had never used before the 3rd DLC and thus my Rapier character was born (he's called Ray Pier cause I'm super witty). I would guess that a fire infused espada vs a fire infused chaos rapier, the chaos rapier will have more fire and less physical. This makes it ideal for the flame weapon coating. The softcap for fire scaling stops at 30/30, similar to dark, so I do not believe that 60/60 would be even slightly close to twice as good, if barely better at all....
